The headquarters campus in Reston, Virginia sits amid dense suburban greenery. Located on a narrow strip of Gulf Coast land at the southernmost tip of Texas, SpaceX’s Starbase facility is unlike anything else on Earth — a purpose-built rocket manufacturing and launch complex that has grown from a bare coastal plain into one of the most active aerospace construction sites in history.
SuperX captures the site mid-build: the towering launch and catch structure casting its shadow across the pad, propellant storage tanks lined in rows, cranes at work, and the surrounding marshland bearing witness to the scale of what’s being assembled here.
