North Korean troops involved in the Ukraine war may have recently re-entered combat following the conclusion of the ‘Kursk Liberation Operation’ last April. In connection with this, weapon exports from Rajin Port to Russia have increased since October of last year. This is assessed as an intent to maintain a blood alliance with Russia to its fullest extent, securing not only food and fuel but also economic and technical support for reconnaissance satellites and nuclear-powered submarines. Ultimately, this aims to neutralize international sanctions against N. K. and shift the balance of power on the Korean Peninsula in its favor.
