Because Rajin Port functions as the primary conduit for bilateral arms trade—facilitating both North Korean weapon exports to Russia and the reciprocal import of Russian military hardware and technology—there is a high probability that the vessel may undergo an integration of supplementary Russian-sourced armament systems. Accordingly, persistent intelligence surveillance is necessary to track potential naval retrofitting activities.
