North Korea has initiated military parade preparations at Mirim Airfield. Considering that the large equipment depot used for housing strategic weapons underwent comprehensive maintenance for approximately ten days, the regime is anticipated to showcase heavy weapon systems, a departure from the characteristics observed during the last military parade in February. Particularly given the strengthened military cooperation with Russia and Kim Jong Un’s recent instructional emphases, the anticipated display includes hypersonic ICBMs, AI-integrated kamikaze drone swarms, advanced electronic warfare equipment, SRBMs equipped with cluster warheads, the new strategic unmanned reconnaissance aerial vehicle (New Saetbyol-4), next-generation main battle tanks. Additionally, North Korea is expected to intensify its pressure against South Korea by unveiling weapon systems capable of striking USFK bases, such as a new 24-tube 240mm multiple rocket launcher (MRL), multi-launch tactical cruise missiles applying AI-driven terminal guidance technology, and newly developed 155mm self-propelled howitzers.
