Many people are curious about what kind of advance indications are identified for the so-called ‘No. 1 Event,’ an event presided over by North Korea’s supreme leader, Kim Jong Un. Analyzing the preparations for the launching ceremony of the new Choi Hyun destroyer, held on April 25th last month, reveals activities such as the clearing of ships, the paving of roads along Kim Jong Un’s route, and the installation of infrastructure like a VIP stand and temporary camera towers. This suggests that North Korea, confident in the construction of the Choi Hyun destroyer, planned and prepared for over a month. Constructing such a large destroyer in a short period of about a year is considered impossible without Russian assistance. Currently, a similar Choi Hyun-class destroyer is being built at Chongjin Port, and similar preparatory activities are being observed.
